Let’s draw something ugly. The first in a series of Goblin drawings.

 

I wanted to challenge myself to make something ugly. I’ve been drawing and painting “lovely” women for over a year now and wanted to go in the other direction. Something ugly, hideous or disgusting. My first thought was orcs, goblins and gnomes, while paying no attention to anatomy and or the correctness of proportions, just for the fun of it.

I’ll be trying to do one of these a week, for as long as the fun lasts. Some of these I’ll be taking into gimp or Artrage and doing a paint of them.
